A category's own heading
On a category archive, Etch already gives you {archive.title} and
{archive.description}. What it cannot tell you is whether the archive is a
product category at all — and a template needs that to show the category's
heading on /product-category/… and the shop's on /shop/. The plugin
publishes it:
| Value | What it is |
|---|---|
{options.fecommerce.archive.isTerm} | True on a product category, tag or attribute archive. Use it in a condition for the category's heading, and !options.fecommerce.archive.isTerm in a second one for the shop's own |
{options.fecommerce.archive.taxonomy} | product_cat, product_tag, or the attribute's — pa_color |
{options.fecommerce.archive.count} | How many products the category holds |
{options.fecommerce.archive.image} | The category image — a term meta WooCommerce invented, which WordPress knows nothing about. image_full and image_alt come with it, and placeholder is WooCommerce's own filler |
The description is HTML the shop wrote, so put it in a Raw HTML block rather than a text one, or the tags show up as text.
