Signing up

The sign-up form is one of the screens of Account: it shows on the account page to anybody who has not signed in, next to the login.

WooCommerce's sign-up form has no setting for two things people expect, so the module adds them under Fancy Etch → Shop:

  • A first and last name, saved to the account and to its billing address, so the checkout is filled in next time.
  • A second password box, because WooCommerce asks for the password once and never compares it — and a typo becomes a locked account.

Whether the email is the username, and whether people set their own password at all, stay where they were: WooCommerce → Settings → Accounts & Privacy.
